The 2023 ride will be Friday, August 4 2023!
Starting around 9:00AM with our bikes touching Lake Superior. We will begin after a few pictures mark the moment. Later in the same day, as our tires touch Lake Michigan, we will celebrate our achievement.We are riding for a great cause and be collecting donations to the American Childhood Cancer OrganizationDon't miss anything, just signup at the bottom of this page.
A 1 day bicycling adventure
60 miles of pavement, gravel, sand and grass.
Starting in Lake Superior and ending in Lake Michigan: stopping at several restaurants, waterfalls, and countless inland lakes. Traveling through vast wilderness, State Parks, National Forest, and more.You don't even have to carry your drinks! We have volunteers following the pack to carry extra drinks, snacks, bikes and bike accessories.
This is NOT A RACE. This is a casual bike event. If you finish, then you win! We will have several way stations along the way, where we will collectively gather and wait for others to catch up.

Open to anyone.Open to any bike: street bike, BMX, mountain bike, fat tire bike, electric bike, unicycle, tricycle, recumbent, pedal powered, solar powered bike, or anything remotely considered a bike.Safety: Clothing recommended. Helmets optional. You are responsible for your own safety, so dress accordingly.What's the cost? There is no cost to attend this event, except your time. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Never to be repeated and never to be forgotten.
We had the idea for the Bike Across Michigan ride across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to honor Paige, an 18 year cancer survivor, and our dear friend’s daughter Linnea who was recently diagnosed. The ride is collecting donations for the American Childhood Cancer Organization to help families like ours and kids like Paige and Linnea.
